SOLAR ECLIPSE WEATHER LOOKING PROMISING HEAT RETURNS TOMORROW
SOLAR ECLIPSE WEATHER LOOKING PROMISING HEAT RETURNS TOMORROW – Good morning everyone! Clouds and sun this morning will become cloudy skies as a wave of low pressure rides along a stationary front that was edged closer to our area thanks to Hurricane Gert. We’ll have an increasing chance of some showers and embedded storms as the day wears on; humid with highs a juicy low 80’s.
Things clear out tonight, paving the way for a hot and sunny day tomorrow with the help of light NW winds; highs in the low 90’s. Another weak front will sink across the area, cooling things off somewhat, but humidity will remain, keeping things uncomfortable.
On Thursday, we’ll have light northeast winds as we sit on the other side of the front; highs a humid low to mid 80’s. Then, we watch a wave of low pressure ride along the front, possibly giving us some showers and storms late Thursday night and into Friday.
Highs Friday will be in the low to mid 80’s again, but the front could waver back over the area for Saturday, making for another relatively hot day. Depending on how much sunshine we get and how far north the front returns on Saturday, we could see upper 80’s to near 90 return.
As of this moment, it looks as if things clear out once again, and we could get some more relatively very warm to hot temps with the help of sinking air. High pressure will drift across the area, possibly giving us mid to upper 80’s and mostly sunny skies for Sunday, and then again for Monday’s solar eclipse.
