SOLAR ECLIPSE MONDAY LOOKING HOT – Good morning everyone! Last night’s storms fizzled out over the area, but the above average temps expected for the next several days will not disappoint.

After a very humid morning today, things will slowly dry out with the help of light NW winds. As usual, these light winds will help temps soar quickly to near 90 today with sun and clouds. Skies clear out fully  tomorrow and we “cool off” a touch. We’ll have bright sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 80’s.

For the solar eclipse, the forecast from several days ago holds strong. Expect mostly sunny skies and a run at 90° again. Tuesday is shaping up as of now to be one of our hottest days of the season, with low 90’s possible and some mugginess along with it.

Wernesday could wind up being an important day depending on the timing of a  cold front. Timing will be key to see if we have a widespread severe weather outbreak. An afternoon approach and temps near 90° will be all the fuel we need, but an early morning approach would just be a repeat of fronts passing with hardly any fanfare and a seasonable, breezy day. Stay tuned and we will dial it all in around Monday eve.
