Meteorologist Joe Cioffi will discuss the past winter, what to expect in the hurricane season ahead and how active it will be, how weather and the atmosphere work and how forecasts are made.

Joe Cioffi is an Emmy award-winning meteorologist who has spent the last 30 years forecasting in the area. A Long Island resident, Joe has appeared on News 12 Long Island and WNBC, and can currently be seen on Verizon FIOS 1 News and WPIX-TV Channel 11.
