NYC SPRING NOREASTER SNOWSTORM AFTERNOON UPDATE – Good afternoon everyone. In case you haven’t heard, Spring has failed to initialize, winter continues, and snow is on the way. How much continues to remain in question, but it’s going to be a good, rip-roaring Nor’easter for the New York City metro area regardless.

Snow Map Remains Untouched

It took us a little while to get to this point, but I am fairly comfortable with the snow map I presented this morning after a couple of modifications in the past 2 days. So I am sticking with my numbers and letting it ride Atlantic City-style.

Aside from the snow itself, coastal flooding, downed trees, and power outages remain a high priority and a big concern considering what we’ve absorbed the past few weeks. I also still believe that parts of the area could possibly be issued Blizzard Warnings if the strongest winds coincide with the heaviest period of snow.
