MORNING BIG ROUND FLORIDA RAINDROPS HOT MOIST SUNDAY AHEAD – Good morning everyone. It might be raining hard in NYC before I even finish typing this; but regardless, the tail end of our trough is finally on the move and it’ll make way for a hot one tomorrow.

Look for big Florida rain drops to start very soon here in the NYC area. As we’ve seen the past couple of weeks, most of the energy is going to the north of us, but there’s just enough to give us a brief morning headache. After things clear out in the next hour or so, expect warm and humid conditions to remain behind. What will also remain behind is some leftover energy, so don’t be surprised if we see a pop-up shower or storm at any point in the day, especially in the late afternoon or evening. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 80’s depending on how much sunshine we can eek out.

Tomorrow and Monday for this moment, are looking like it’ll be the hottest days of this hot block; with highs in the low to mid 90’s, sunshine, and very oppressive humidity. Tuesday we’re near 90, possibly low 90’s depending on the wind profile, then the chain is broken mid-week with upper 80’s before 90’s try and return next weekend. Throughout this period, it’ll be very warm to hot, with very muggy conditions.

For the marine forecast, tomorrow and Monday are looking excellent for some near-shore/offshore excursions. With 2 ft seas, it’ll feel like your fishing off of a dock at your favorite local reefs and wrecks, so get out there and enjoy it if you have time and can hack the searing heat.
