DELIGHTFUL NYC TRAVEL WEATHER – Good morning everyone and Happy (almost) Holiday! Today is going to be a great day for traveling if it is in your plans, or walking around NYC if you’ve started your holiday weekend early; just make sure you bundle up. This morning will be cold and still slightly breezy, lows in the low 30’s just before sunrise. During the afternoon, the winds will calm down and most areas will see highs in the mid 40’s.
Clouds will increase tonight as a system approaching the area will give us a slight chance of some scattered light rain and drizzle throughout most of the day for Thanksgiving; highs in the upper 40’s, cloudy and damp. On Friday, clouds stay in the picture, with more clouds than sun, chance of some scattered drizzle, highs near 50. Our best chance of rain will be Friday night as another weak disturbance passes by, but rain will generally be light in nature.
Partial clearing will begin on Saturday and our best day looks to be on Sunday. More on the weekend weather tomorrow. Safe travels everyone!
